My Simple Woman's Daybook!

FOR TODAY ...May 7th 2009

Outside my window...the sun is actually shining today. It has been about 2 weeks solid of clouds and rain. It is still cloudy, but at least the sun is trying to peek through. It is very humid and warm the high today is 90.

I am thinking...that I am in that travel mood. I LOVE to get on a plane and go.....

I am thankful for...the sun today. Maybe I can sit outside for a while and enjoy the rays.

From the kitchen...sits my very handsome SONIC Diet Coke on the counter and the rest is clean
The refrigerator is callling my name though. I'm kinda hungry adn it's only 10 AM. I will wait for lunch though and not snack.

I am wearing...some hideous ugly turquiose sweat shorts and a purple TCU teeshirt. Between the humidity and my attire, I am looking pretty rough.

I am creating...NADA.

I am going...to hang a few HOBBY LOBBY finds today in Kirstin's bathroom and my laundry room.

I am reading...again, a big NADA.

I am hoping...that my mom and my Mother in law have a wonderful Mothers Day. I am so thankful for these two women in my life and wish I could be with them both. I will enjoy Mothers Day as a mom though at home with my family.

I am hearing...the hum of the AC and Richard is watching the Food Network.

Around the house...not much is going on, Willy G is laying at my feet, Jackson is outside being Jackson, and the girls are all at school.

One of my favorite things...laying on the beach with friends and family listening to the surf and the kids play. Three more weeks and I will be doing just that.

A few plans for the rest of the week...tumbling tonight, a purse party tomorrow evening, followed by a soft ball game, a much needed hair appointment Saturday morning and hopefully a visit from my sister in law.

Alex, Klaire, and Karrigan, we have named the three the X-Klairigans. They are great girlfriends who spend much time together.
