Kali Christine

Kali- she is a daddy's girl through and through. Ask her who her best friend is and she will proudly report that "my daddy is my bff". Best Friend Forever. That is Kali and Richard. I think Kali is most like her daddy. She has never met a stranger, she can talk to anyone. She has many useless bits of information that she likes to tell you. She can make anyone laugh and actually strives to be a goofball. She is very comical in the things she says. She is very passionate and genuine in her feelings. If she thinks she is right, and you are wrong, she will argue her point to no end. She will have the final say. Sometimes this REALLY tends to bother me, but I remind myself that she is a strong willed girl and that is a positive not a negative. Last Sunday morning we were getting ready for church. She comes out in some play shorts and a tank top. She couldn't understand why I had her change clothes. She thought she looked so cute, and she did, but I was trying to explain that on Sunday morning we went to church to worship God and she needed to look nice for this. She thought for a second and then said, "well mom, I wore this to vacation bible school last week". Yes you did I replied, but this is church and we need to dress up for God, this is not VBS. She very politely put me in my place when telling me that she went to VBS to Worship God also so why was it ok then and not on Sunday morning? She had a point.....she always manages to have a point and get me. Kali is responsible for me having a change in my feelings sometimes. She can get me to see things in ways that I have not seen them before. Unlike Kirstin, Kali is not a diva, she would much rather just put something on and go. She likes comfort. She is who she is, she doesn't care if others don't like her, she is very confident in who she is. Again, God gave me such a blessing when he gave me Kali.
