Yippee, We did it!

We did it, we closed on the land on Monday. We now own a prime piece of dirt on Cabernet Place. WOW, I can't believe it is all working out and coming together. It is amazing to me that we started this adventure almost five years ago. Applying for school, not being accepted the first year, applying again, and being accepted. Moving to Florida, moving back to Texas, and finally moving to Bullard. I am so proud of Richard. He is amazing! He loves his job and loves what he does, and what a difference that makes in life. We drove out to the land the other night. It was about 7 in the evening. We got out of the car and just stood there and you know what we heard....NOTHING. No traffic, no music, nothing just the birds chirping. It was awesome. It is so quiet out there, so rural. It is in a neighborhood and we have neighbors, but we are all spread out and it is just what I have imagined the payoff being all these years of struggles and moving. I hope everyone who reads this will one day be able to come hang out and visit. We always have an open door and love to just be..... Our dirt work is starting the week of July 7th.
