This is a view looking into the dining room from the front entry way. We put wainscotting on the walls that is seven feet high. We are painting it an creamy off white along with the trim and then the wall color is called granite peak. It is a dark blueish blackish grey color. This room is going to be our only formal room in the house. We have Richard's Great Aunt's 100 year old furninture to put in it and I'm so excited to be able to set my grandma's china on it and have a meal. The cabinet man was delivering cabinets today so those in the pic are actually for the kitchen.

Another view of the dining room.

The brickers are hard at work. The funnest part of building has been watching how skilled each contractor is in their area. These masons make bricking look easy. It really makes me appreciate different skills that people offer.

Another view of the brick work being completed.

The front side is half completed. We are stucco-ing the front porch. Uncle Dan is doing that for us but has some health issues right now and will complete it as soon as he can.

Wow! You have made such progress. I love the brick!!
The dining room is going to be beautiful. The story behind the dining room table is...it was in the old Methodist parsonage. Richard's great grandmother (Pop's mother)got it then passed is on to her daughter-in-law and now we have passed it on to the next daughter-in-law.....Isn't that neat. I'm so glad you have taken to the table....we can keep it in the family. That makes me very happy.
Oh My Garsh!!! So much has been accomplished in just a week. It looks wonderful.
The colors sound awesome! So what are the colors in the rest of the house so I can start scouting things for your house warming present! I can't wait to see everything, it looks beautiful!
