Richard and I were able to go out on Friday night. We meet our friends from Forney for a birthday celebration for my friend Tammi. Being with them for the evening was fun and made me again realize how lucky we are to have great friends. The burden of moving is always leaving, but the blessing of moving is you have friends in so many places. We had a great evening. The girls went to Taylor and Bailey's house. Taylor babysat them and they had makeovers, did nails, watched tv and got some hand me down toys. Taylor and Bailey's mom works with Richard and their dad is the very talented Stan who is making our cabinets for the whole house. His work is absolutely amazing! They are a wonderful family and the girls LOVE hanging out with them. Saturday, Richard got up early and headed to the deer lease. The girls and I cleaned and did laundry and then headed into Tyler. WE met Ben and Andrea and the kids, my mom, Lane, Andrea's newphew and Allen, Andrea's brother for lunch. We had a good greasy Mexican lunch and then went to Sam's to do some Christmas shopping/dreaming. I then brought them back to Bullard and showed mom and Andrea the house, they hadn't seen it since it was starting to frame. Richard came home Saturday evening, with still NO kill and we just vegged in front of the tv. Sunday morning came and we FINALLY went to Sunday school for the first time and then joined the church during the service. It feels good to become a part of a church family again. Yesterday afternoon the girls stayed here and cleaned and Richard and I went out to the house to do another round of cleanup so the cabinets could start being installed today. We were covered in sawdust from head to toe. I had the bright idea of instead of sweeping it all up, lets get the blower and blow all the sawdust outside. BAD BAD IDEA. Our house smelled of gas and we simply just redistributed all the sawdust. To say the least we still had to sweep it all up. Last night we went to some friends house for dinner. We have been trying to get together with them and it pulled together yesterday. We had a relaxing evening of hanging out and visiting. Today I think I am getting showered and heading first to take pics of the house. Yes Mimi, I forgot my camera again yesterday. But that is on the agenda today! I will send you updated pics.... I am then heading to town to pick up the pottery Beki and I painted while she was here and get hers in the mail. I think I will then do some Christmas shopping.
