The Simple Woman's Daybook!

FOR TODAY November 10th, 2008
Outside my window... It is dark and cool, the day is ending.
I am thinking... that my sisters visit has been wonderful! We have had the most relaxing time.
I am thankful for... Cari Johnson, she has inspired me these last few weeks and our daughters made friends immediately!
From the kitchen... it is clean, we had peppercorn bacon blue cheese burgers for dinner. The dishwasher is running and all is quiet. My sister is writing a note card and I am working on my blog.
I am wearing... blue sweat shorts and my red Bullard Panthers tee shirt.
I am creating... memories with my sister, did I mention what a good week we've had?
I am going... to the airport to take my sister home tomorrow. Boo hoo hoo.
I am reading... Marley and Me, A GREAT BOOK.
I am hoping... that I will be able to move in and celebrate Christmas in my new house!
I am hearing...the football game playing on the TV, the dishwasher running and all else is silent.
Around the house... Kirstin and Kali are in bed. It is 6:23 and they are exhausted. They had two sleepovers this weekend, one on Friday night and one on Saturday night. Alex is cleaning her room and Richard is watching TV. Beki is on the phone outside talking to her family.
One of my favorite things... is music. I didn't realize how many songs I really "love" until my sister pointed out this weekend that I say "I love this song" many times a day!
A few plans for the rest of the week: Go to the airport, get my hair cut and colored, go celebrates my friends birthday, pick out paint colors, read with Kirstin's class at school, and I'm sure many other fun things.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...This is the lodge we stayed in for the Woman's Retreat this weekend. The retreat was very relaxing and taught us to focus on Inner Beauty. I'm glad that I was able to attend.
