Its Tuesday afternoon, a cloudy Tuesday, we have rain in the forecast, it just hasn't hit yet. I type this today to give kuddos to my sweeet husband Richard. Tonight is the monthly FFA meeting. We decided that this would be "his" thing to do with Alex. It gives them a so called 'Date-night' once a month or so where just the two of them can spend some time together. The meetings revolve around food, (seems like life does) so I have a pot of chicken spaghetti on the stove. It is a pot luck dinner. Don't you just know there will be awesome food there. Pot lucks are the best. Richard is right now meeting with an insurance adjuster, bless his heart, he messed up his new truck. He hasn't had it for long maybe a month or two, but last week, at the land, he buttomed the front end out in the culvert and tore up his bumper. He had just put new tires and wheels on the truck a few days before. To say the least, he was frustrated. As we sat in the ditch stuck, we were laughing, thinking it was funny, but when the neighbor had to come pull us out, (in a Chevy which made it worse) and we saw the bumper, ooops not laughing anymore. But I guess that is what we pay our monthly insurance premuims for, huh???? Richard is also going to swing by Best Buy for speaker wire. He is installing all the wire to surround sound for the new house. This, to me, is impressive. I know nothing about this, not sure of what to buy, how to install, or anything, but I think it is just awesome that he is willing to do this for us. And while he is at Best Buy, yep you guessed it, he took my camera. I'm having high hopes that it will be fixed or at least be a simple fix..I am so thankful for Richard. We have kinda been at each other lately, just fiesty with each other, I think we need some Amy/Richard time. It's been awhile, actually a long time. I want a whole weekend, I am being selfish, I don't want just one night out, I want a few nights away. Hopefully soon we can work on this. In the mean time, I will be satisfied with a night out with him. It MIGHT happen this weekend. I'm keeping my hopes high for that also. We will know more when the weekend rolls around.
