Rip Roaring and Ready to Go

I've successfully ended my pouting, wah wah wah day and am up and ready for a Wonderful Wednesday. I'm over my little pity party and feeling refreshed and renewed. Sometimes you just have to let it all out. I know I probably sounded like a big baby, but hey, I'll admit, I do have those days.

The girls have left for school. This week is drug free week and each day Kirstin and Kali have certain items to wear to celebrate the week. Today was Camouflage day. Camo is not abundant in this house. They do have a skirt that is camo so for the first time this year, they match! I love it when they dress the same. They are really going to confuse the teachers today. Richard is at work still. He worked all day yesterday and then was called in around midnight. He just called and is tired, but must stay and work a little longer. We had plans to go to town today and do some shopping for the house, not sure if that will happen or he will want to come home and sleep. We are needing to get the garage door picked out so it can be delivered and installed. Today the painters are starting on the outside. Then tomorrow the tape and mud should be dried and the texture will be put on all the walls. Friday the trim contractor will come in and start all the crown molding and trim out the house. Richard went and saw the cabinets on Monday being made and said they are awesome. I am anxious to see them. It really seems as if we are moving right on schedule and the goal of Christmas is in sight and possible. I am going to put my sister to work next week helping me pick out colors for the inside.

My camera should be back any day so I can post pics again soon. We checked on Monday and it showed that it was in transit between the repair center and the store so hopefully we will get it. We have decided to nix the stone on the house. We are going to stucco the front porch and then brick the rest. We are going to add a flagstone or some kind of outside "tile" to the front porch floor and the back patio. After much discussion we have decided that would look better and also save us some money. The stone can really get up in dollar.

I am off to the shower. I am going to finish cleaning today. The girls all cleaned and rearranged their rooms yesterday in honor of Uncle Ryan coming in on Friday and Aunt Beki on Monday. They did an awesome job. I love it when they all three put their heads together and work hard. They surprised us, told us not to come in and see until they were done. Looks great today. So today I only have bathroom detail and then we are ready for company.
