So I found out Friday that I passed the test. I was having a mellow morning that day. I think I just was worried about the test and I didn't want to wait all weekend to find out. I came in the kitchen around 10:45 and realized that I had an email. It was from the state board saying I could log on and see my results. I was so nervous I couldn't remember my code to log in. After finding the code and retyping it a few times, I opened it and there it had the results and the word so beautifully highlighted "PASSED". Yippee! So now I can officially teach in the state of Texas. What a relief. I wanted to celebrate with someone and Richard was busy at work so I showered quickly ran to the Sonic and went and had lunch with Alex at school. She was happy for me. We had a nice Sonic lunch on the picnic tables at school. Saturday I had class. We were all up and out of the house by 6:55 AM. We drove to Kilgore and meet mom and dad, they they took Jacob, Aubrey, Kirstin, Kali and Alex to Cleburne for Mary's and Makayla's birthday party. Richard then dropped me off at school and he went on to Longview to enjoy a day on the golf course with Ben, Micheal and Clay (the AC installation man) On Sunday we celebrated my mom's birthday with a fajita feast. It is now Monday morning. After being busy all weekend, I am getting the laundry caught up, the house cleaned up and have Alex home sick. I think it is just a mixture of being VERY tired and also a bad cold. She is laying on our very comfy camp chairs. We gave our living room furniture away and so we have nothing in here but 2 fold up camp chairs and our tv and coffee tables. It's really hard to get comfy, but she has pushed the chairs together and added her bedroom pillows and is trying to watch tv. She is giving it her best shot. We will get furniture soon. I want to have it be the time my sister gets here. Well my next load of laundry has gone off and I am going to keep cleaning. Have a happy Monday!

You stinkin' rock! I never doubted. It would have been a longer drive, but I am ALWAYS available for celebratory Sonic runs! There are about 7 DQ's halfway between us, so next time, you need to party, call me and we'll be T minus 45 to Blizzard Happiness.
