Easter 2009 was very relaxing and special. It is our first Easter here in Bullard. We woke up this morning to dark rainy thunderstorms with heavy rain. The girls found their Easter baskets and the morning began getting around for church. Sunday school was an indoor egg hunt as we would have been swimming if it were outdoors. Church services were nice and then we came home for a nice afternoon. Mark and Jessica and their son Nicholas came over for lunch. Richard grilled blue cheese encrusted ribeyes, garlic mashed potatoes, cesear salad and green beans, (although we forgot to serve those, Oppps), we ate till we were sick. We finished dinner with homemade strawberry shortcakes. YUM. The girls dyed eggs and the weather ended up clearing up and there are blue sky's now as the day winds down. Here are a few Easter pictures from the day.

Some of the beautiful eggs the girls dyed.

My Amazing Alex, she is turning into quite the young lady!

Kali working on her masterpiece!

Kirstin dipping her eggs!

What a wonderful day you had. Sounds like you brought a little bit of the Outback flavor to your meal. Hmmm....Loved the outfits and the eggs. The girls look so cute.
Happy Easter
