FOR TODAY...April 14Th 2009Outside my window...The sky's are beautiful, the trees are green, my lawn is lush and the air has a spring chill in it. We have been able to keep both doors open all evening.
I am thinking...that I have many people I want to travel to see such as my sister, Rebecca, I would also like to fly to Chicago to see my cousin Brittney, then on to Ohio to see my old roommate, Marty, then over to Switzerland to see my college suite mate, Christina and then to Florida to see my in laws. For today though, I will have to be satisfied with my Internet and phones.
I am thankful for...another opportunity to sub this week. I have done third grade yesterday and today and enjoyed it also!
From the kitchen...I had a chedderwurst and oranges, (nice combo huh) and Kirstin and Kali enjoyed pepperoni quesadillas and chips and queso. Richard and Alex are attending a carry in potluck FFA meeting as I type.
I am wearing...sweat shorts and a tee shirt. Comfort comes just about as soon as I get home and can change.
I am creating...my resume, harder than I thought it would be.
I am going...to stay home tomorrow. Kali got sick at school today and was running fever and must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school. I just loaded her up with more Tylenol and hopefully she will be feeling better in the morning and maybe we can just have a nice day relaxing together.
I am reading...just my House Beautiful magazine.
I am hoping...that the last seven weeks of school go quick. I LOVE being home in the summer with the girls.
I am hearing...the girls are in the living room watching TV and I am listening to my play list of praise music as I type. All else is quiet, very quiet.
Around the house...are dirty floors. I do love my dark hardwood, but they are SO hard to keep clean. Every footprint shows and mopping must be done daily. However, I haven't done it since Sunday so I am feeling kinda dirty.
One of my favorite things...simple surprises. Today while subbing I was flipping through a prayer calender the teacher had on her desk. The calendar was filled with pictures of the people for prayer and when I flipped the page, there was our old music minister and his wife from Forney. He is an amazing worship leader and it just made my day to be in Bullard but reminded of someone from the past and how we all need prayer daily.
A few plans for the rest of the week...tomorrow just hanging with my O'Malley, then Awana's tomorrow evening, tumbling on Thursday evening and softball on Friday evening. Other than that, all else is quiet. Maybe I'll have the opportunity to sub again on Thursday or Friday.
Here is picture I thought about sharing!
