Bye Bye Duplex, Hello HOME!

Today is it, this is officially our last night in the duplex. As I sit and type this, my heartbeat races excitedly. We worked over at the house on Saturday into the evening. We cleaned out the garage, burned all the extra boxes and trash and then decided yesterday to go to Dallas and do some things that needed to be taken care of. When we returned last night to lock the house up, it was completely CLEAN. The cleaners had worked all day yesterday as did our cabinet man. He installed all the pulls and cabinet hardware. We were BLOWN AWAY when we walked in. You see the progress as you go along, but as we walked through with it clean and no building materials anywhere, it was amazing. It makes me emotional. It takes me back about 6 years when Richard decided to pursue school. What an adventure our last six years has been and now starting tomorrow, we start our new period in life with a brand new beautiful home. Wow! I am so incredibly proud of Richard. It is so worth all the headaches now looking at the finished project. (Well almost finished, there are a few small things that we will complete as the weeks go on.) Well I really need to get busy. I have a whole duplex to finish packing and cleaning. I will try to get pics today and post them before we move in. Woo Hooo.....it's finally time!

I know how sad you must be to leave the cozy, little duplex with the nice, comfy living room furniture. You might go through some serious withdrawals. Just call...I'll be here for you Schister!!!

Will you email your new address?
