My Alex

Alex is my 12 year old mini me. She is growing up into such a beautiful and sweet yet mouthy and sassy young lady. She rolls her eyes, looks at me like I'm an complete idiot, and will mouth me all the way down the hallway. But the truth of the matter is, she is just like me at that age. This picture was taken on Saturday. I was being silly when Andrea was taking a picture and Alex flew in behind me with her famous "dorky" look. I love that she can be so silly with me. I love that she has a great sense of humor. I love that she speaks her mind. I love that she is confident. (She tried out for and made the Bullard Talent show). I love that she is my first born. I love picking her up afterschool and hearing about her day. (Even though many times it is just "fine"& "nothing happened". ) I love watching her with her friends. I love to see her clean her pigs pen. I love to listen to her sing. She is truely gifted. I love that she wants to borrow my clothes now. That means I must be half way cool to her. I love her friends, especially Emily, they are two peas in a pod. I love watching her mature into a young woman.
