Outside my window...It is blue sky's but cold, it was 33 when I took the girls to school. However, it is supposed to warm up to the mid 50's so I think it will be a nice day.
I am thinking...about our new President. The Inauguration is on the TV and he is not who I voted for however, I will respect his authority as the leader of our country even if I don't agree with him.
I am thankful for...hand me down clothes. Kali was given a "cowgirl" shirt from someone years ago. It finally fits her and she was so proud of the way she looked this morning. I love hand me downs.
From the kitchen...is organized chaos. I still have boxes and messes and stuff everywhere, but it is so calming as we have worked so hard to get to this point. I'm not sure I could be happier this morning.
I am wearing...Gray yoga pants and a Notre Dame sweatshirt. I am still an Irish fan at heart even if I have lived in Texas a majority of my life.
I am creating...a beautiful home for my family.
I am going...to shower in a bit and then take Alex her lunch. She left it on the counter and does not like to buy her lunch from school. We have to leave earlier here so we are still not on a routine yet. We are working on it. Maybe by the end of this week we can leave on time and not forget anything.
I am reading...Nothing at the moment, I don't think I could sit long enough to read, I am too excited packing and organizing and decorating and rearranging.
I am hoping...that my cousin and her kids are going to be able to come and visit me in March. She was my best friend growing up and I really want to built my relationship with her again. I LOVE YOU BRITTNEY!
I am hearing...my computer is playing Broken by Lindsey Haun and in the background the TV is also on so I can watch the momentous day today.
Around the house...are half decorated rooms filled with boxes. It is messy but in a good way.
One of my favorite things...is tulips. They are my FAVORITE flower. They are beautiful and I have a bunch sitting on my kitchen table that I received for a Welcome to your new home gift.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Keep unpacking and organizing, cleaning out the garage, heading to Longview Saturday for Micheal's birthday fish fry, taking the girls to Awana's, gymnastics, tumbling, and our usual Friday after school Sonic trip. I also hope to meet some neighbors.
Here is picture thought I am sharing..The was taken many many years ago in the early 80's at my Grandma and Grandpa's house on Fifth Street in Elkhart Indiana. As a child we would spend Christmas's at their house. Grandma made us these Cabbage Patch kids. My sister still has hers, I on the other hand wished I had kept mine but don't know what happened to it. We had also received new panties and tanks, socks, hats, scarves and mittens. As you can tell, Rebecca and I have ALWAYS been silly together.
