I started my day bright and early with a test in Kilgore. All is well, I passed the practice test for the second part of my teaching certification. I will now take the actual test some time in February. Today is beautiful outside. A sunny bright 70 degree day in East Texas. I was able to meet Richard for lunch in Tyler after my test and we ate and then did some window shopping for the new house. I have a few minutes before I need to pick up the girls so I thought I would enter a quick blog. We have pushed the move back one final time. It is now set for Tuesday the 13Th. Too many little things were not complete so we are waiting one more weekend. We can't push it back any longer as our lease is up the 15Th here and the next tenant is scheduled to move in. We're coming Tuesday whether done or not. That works well as the new furniture is also scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday. So what a big day, Alex turns 12, we get a new house and new furniture. I'm not thinking it can get much better than that. On a different note, my sister is Washington is completely flooded. Her family is actually in Oregan right now for a conference but the roads are closed and they can't get home. The conference center is working with them and allowing them to stay longer as if they had to stay in a hotel it would be very costly for a family of their size. I do want to ask for prayer for them though, they do not know when they will be able to go home and also many of the church family and town is in despair right now. Many roads closed, bridges washed away and flooding.

Your sister and her family and town are in our prayers. Let us know if we can do anything.
