Calling all Cooks!

Ok, I have been looking online all morning for great recipes for dinners. Richard and I went to a church service a couple of weeks ago and the service focused on how you use the blessings that God gives you. We have had many discussions on this and realized that there are ways that we can save money and not live frivilously. One of those ways is to not eat out and have well thought out planned meals. We are in the habit of just running to the local Brookshires for pick me ups for dinner. These trips add up. We decided to write out recipe ideas and have a grocery list and shop off that list. Well here's my problem. I'm not the most creative in the kitchen. So I need your help. If you read this and have the most wonderful recipe, feel free to email it to me. I want some variety and different ideas.

I've been using e-mealz for several months. It's a menu of 7 dinners - complete with recipes, instructions, and a shopping list by aisle! They estimate the groceries will be under $80 for the seven meals. I think groceries are a little higher, but they're not far off. It's a pdf file that you download each week. It only costs $1.25 per week. Of the seven meals, 1 or 2 are usually snoozers, like "eggo waffles and scrambled eggs", 3 are usually average, kid-friendly meals, and 2 or 3 sound wierd and I would never make them ever, but after I do, the kids rave.

Count to 1000 and I'll post the link on my blog. count slowly, we're in dial-up you-know-what.
