I Love Fall Weather

I am crazy about fall weather. It is probably my favorite season. Even though we don't normally get the full four seasons here in Texas, fall is the best. Since the hurricane we have been teased with cooler weather. When I got up and took the dogs out this morning at six, it was actually brisk. I just stood there in my shorts and tee shirts letting the wind blow and enjoying the cooler weather. A little bit ago, I went out to check the mail, the sun still hasn't come out today so it is in the mid 70's and there was still that ever so slight breeze, but the best part was, somewhere in the distance, someone was burning! I should say someone was burning something. That sounded funny before. The leaves and wood smelled so GOOD. Yet another one of my favorite things is the smell of burning leaves. In the desire to bring fall faster, I wanted to buy a fall floral arrangement. Those things are so darn high. So I got brave and tried to get creative yesterday, and I actually made an arrangement for my kitchen table. I was really excited on how it turned out so I am posting a picture. No, I'm not bragging, well a little I am, I am just not highly creative and my arrangement turned out great in my eyes.
