I've been humbled.

So it took me a few days to get over the fact that I FAILED the practice test. Thank goodness for practice tests and it wasn't the actual. I took the test Monday morning. It was difficult. Very difficult, much more difficult than I had anticipated. You had to make a 76 to pass and I made a 70. I left in tears, I was so frustrated. I got to the car and called Richard and gave him the sob story. But he made a good point that this was a PRACTICE test for a reason, I hadn't studied alot for it, I went into it seeing what I knew without studying and now I must get busy and study. I also finished the online courses a few months ago, so the information is not fresh on my mind. When grading the test, I did realize some of the mistakes I made, so that was beneficial, now I must get busy and STUDY, STUDY, STUDY!

Now onto the house. The progress is moving right along. We went out yesterday and walked around with the electrician to decide where we want lights, outlets, cable and phone lines. Wow, you would think that would be an easy task, but it was rather time consuming. We had to visualize where beds would be to know where to put the cable boxes, visualize where we wanted certain lights, the light switches, indoor lights, outdoor lights, flood lights, can lights, scounces, rope lights. I'll tell you this, we have MANY lights. We even have a seperate switch for Christmas lights. And the funny thing about that is that Richard does not even like to hang Christmas lights. But we had a good time deciding everything. It is amazing to me the detail that goes into building a house and how certain people are so skilled in there area. I can' t begin to "see" what the framer is explaining. Richard's grandmother is right when she said that "God put certain people on this Earth to do certain things, and that is why I hire them and pay for it!"

Everything else in the Burrow household is going good. Kirstin and Kali start gymnastics tomorrow and Alex is starting tumbling. They are all three excited to get involved again with sports and to know that we are NOT moving again and thay they can actually stayed involved. The girls are all at school this morning. Richard has headed off to work. Guess what I am doing today? STUDYING! It feels as if Richard and I have changed roles. He is the one who is supposed to study.
