My 35th Birthday!

So today I turned 35. YIPPEE. I'm another year older. I am now officially closer to 40 than 30 since it is technically correct to round up.....but I must say, I feel pretty darn good so aging just doesn't bother me too bad..... I have had a wonderful day so far. Richard took the day off and we had intended to go to breakfast. We took the girls to school this morning and then got around for breakfast. As we were getting there we walked in and Tammi and Heather had drove in to town to surprise me for breakfast. What a treat that was. I was so excited. So Richard left us to go run errands and we visited for a few hours. It was special. I hadn't seen either of them since I had moved. We laughed and giggled, and even teared up a time or two. Then Richard and I went and did some house shopping. We picked out our bathtubs, bath fixtures, sinks, toilets, our kitchen sink and our laundry room sink. This house building thing is really fun. I don't know why everybody says that building is tough and can lead to divorce. Richard and I have had such a fun time discussing, dreaming, shopping, changing our minds, and shopping some more. I'm sitting here now at the kitchen table, the girls are chilling with after school cartoons. They usually don't come home and watch tv, but they do seem a little tired this evening. Richard is at the land visiting with the framers and meeting another contractor out there to discuss some stuff. As soon as he gets back we are going to Carino's for dinner. I wish we had Macaroni Grill in Tyler, but we don't so I will go for Carino's. Italian sound really good. I am feeling really blessed today. I have heard from many people and feel loved. I think God created birthdays to remind us of how loved we are. I am thankful for all my friends and family today. They really make me who I am.
