The girls woke up today with a strong desire to cook. They REALLY love helping in the kitchen and always want to help me cook. I decided to let them do the meal today. Richard left this morning at 4:30 to hit the lake with Mark and go fishing. Alex spent the night with Emily so it is only the girls and I at home. So far for dinner tonight, they have done it all. They cooked down the turkey, added the veggies, seasonings, opened all the cans, added them together and poured it in the crockpot, stirred it until I had to tell them to stop stirring and are now wanting the set the table. The funny thing is it's only 10:26AM. They are ready for dinner. We are going to let the sauce cook all day in the crock pot and simmer full of flavor. Pasta is their favorite thing to eat so I thought it would be a good lesson to start with. Here a a few pictures from the morning.

That's fantastic! I notice Kirstin has on her apron I brought her. Does Kali need one also? Maybe they kept help papaw and I cook next week while we are there.

Well...how did it turn out? It's cool they like to cook and help in the kitchen. Do you remember Ben taking the cooking class when he was their age? He taught us to make "Pictured Framed Eggs." We still make them to this day. My kids love them.
