I have had such a case of the lazies this morning. Wow, but I am not up and motivated and making me a sandwich for lunch and have my praise and worship music is blarring throughout the house. I did watch a few of my recorded shows this morning and then I went outside and dug up some old bricks and concrete that came after the last rain storm. Our yard is washing away with all the rain we have had lately. We keep finding bricks and stone that was buried in the final dirt grating. It is a beautiful day here in East Texas. The sun is shining, the skies are blue and the high temp is 70. It is a perfect pre-spring day. It has been a quiet week with the Burrows for the most part. We had nothing going on Monday and Tuesday evening. Yesterday after school all three girls went home with a friend after school. It was awesome! Alex went home with Klaire to practice cheer and Kirstin and Kali went home with Courtney a neighborhood friend. Richard called and invited me to dinner for Valentines. So after all the girls were picked up from friends and happy at Wednesday night church services, we went to Outback for dinner! It was awesome, we topped it off with a Dairy Queen blizzard on the way to pick the girls back up. At dinner last night Richard gave me quite the compliment. It was directed to both of us, from a collegue of his. He was telling me how someone told him they admired us because we do "everything" together. I have taken that for granted, but as I sit and think today, I am a very blessed and lucky wife. If Richard doesn't have to be to work early, we both take the girls to school, if he is home, we both pick them up, we both take them to and from Awana's and gymnastics and tumbling and do so much as a couple. The compliment has really opened my eyes this morning about how much time Richard and I really do spend together, and that is just awesome! Our journey this past 13 and 1/2 years has been incredible.
Not much is going on the rest of the week. Gymnastics is tonight and then tomorrow is Valentines Day parties at school for the girls. I am doing my first substitute assignment tomorrow also. I am nervous of course, especially with it being a "party day" the kids are going to be so excited, but I am in turn so excited because it is in First Grade at Kirstin and Kali's school. So even though I am missing their parties, I will be right across the hall from them! I can't WAIT to have my own classroom.....I pray this helps me get my foot in the door with Bullard.
