It's Thursday evening about 8:00 in the evening. I need to get some things done around the house to get ready for tomorrow but am tired and don't feel like it. I decided to write on my blog instead. Kirstin and Kali are in bed. They are so tired, by the end of the week-they crash. Tonight they had gymnastics and finally got the cartwheel, (sort of) so they were moved up to level two. Finally! However, tonight we also turned in our notice to cancel up there. I am not one to complain and gripe, but truthfully am just not happy with the program so we are going to move to a different gym and focus more on tumbling and cheer over gymnastics. Kali is going to do softball and horseback riding so we are going to let cheer/tumbling be Kirstin's thing. I don't ever want them to compete against each other. I want them each to have their own "thing".
Alex and Richard are now at tumbling. She starts her cheer clinic next week to learn the dances and cheers for tryouts. She is NERVOUS and was in tears last night. We have been giving her pep talks. If she makes it, she will be thrilled, if she doesn't, this has been such a good learning experience!
I just realized earlier that in a week, Richard and I are leaving for our get away. I thought it was still two weeks away. The time has crept up on me. I did my first sub job today. It was enjoyable. I had kindergarten. The things they tell you are hilarious. One little girl told me all about her lice. Gotta love it! I am going back on Monday and Tuesday and working a first grade class. This really excited Kirstin and Kali even though it is not their class. Just being in first grade is cool to them.
All is else good in Bullard Texas. Tomorrow after school Alex is going to a friends house to spend the night and then I am taking Kirstin and Kali over to a classmates house. They are all three going to be gone Friday night and Saturday morning. Wow, what to do. I'm not sure if we'll go out and eat and do something or if we'll stay in and enjoy a movie at the house. We will stay close as I want to make sure that K and K make it overnight.
Ok, I officially need to get lunches made, folders signed and the dinner dishes out of the sink. I sure enjoyed working today, but I am going to have to get used to being busy again.

Hi Amy!
I found your blog through Cari and your sister! I've stopped by a few times to look at pictures of your house and so on. Just wanted to leave a comment this time instead of being a silent reader.
I'm subbing this semester too - and i agree, it's SUCH an interesting experience. I've had mostly kindergarten and they are SO cute, but it also tests your patience a little. haha! I've heard some pretty funny things come out of their mouths also. They keep you laughin!
Well i just wanted to say hello! Hope you have a fantastic weekend and that your girls make it through the night at their friends house. Have fun on your trip!!!
