Simple Woman's Daybook!

FOR TODAY February 23, 2009
Outside my window...The night is rolling in. The sky is getting darker and I am getting sleepy.
I am thinking...that I have four days of romance coming up with my man and I can't wait.
I am thankful for...being hired to sub. I have only done it twice so far, but am pretty much LOVING it.
From the kitchen...the dishwasher is running, lunches are made and ready for tomorrow, book order money is laying on the table and all else is quiet.
I am wearing...my Bullard Panthers teeshirt and also some comfy pants.
I am creating...a mental to do list of things I need to do before I leave town this weekend.
I am going...to California on Saturday! WOO HOO, YIPPEE, SKIPPY, CAN'T WAIT.
I am reading...I just got the Fireproof study guide last night at church. I have skimmed it but can't call it reading yet.
I am hoping...that Alex is over her sickness and that no one else gets it.
I am hearing...Kirstin reading her homework to her daddy and the dishwasher running. Kali is in her room doing laundry and Alex is in the gameroom watching a cheer video trying to learn her routines.
Around the house...is a typical Monday night. Dinner is over, girls are all showered with PJ's on, I am blogging, and Richard is sitting in the big comfy chair.
One of my favorite things...is my bed. Even with my knotty sheets, and hump in the middle mattress, I love climbing in for another night of zzzzz's. I'm thinking that tonight will be an early night.
A few plans for the rest of the week... subbing again tomorrow, doing a little grocery shopping so my inlaws can have some food in the house when they get here, maybe a hair cut if I can get in before leaving town, out last week of gymnastics, mock tryouts for Alex's cheer, Papaw Gary's birthday dinner Friday night and then leaving Saturday morning for my romantic adventure!
